Innovative Specialty Phosphates (Innophos) is a firm specialized in the manufacture of essential ingredients, chelated minerals and innovative specialty phosphates that deliver critical functional benefits to customers’ products in the food, health, nutrition and industrial specialties markets.
Innophos was a Bain Capital company established in 2004 through the acquisition of Rhodia's North American phosphate business. In 2006, Innophos became a publicly traded company on NASDAQ – IPHS. After years of growing, in 2020 Innophos started a new direction under new owners, private equity firm One Rock Capital Partners.
