Current Ownership Structure:
- Grupo México Transportes (GMXT): Holds a 50% ownership interest in the joint venture, plus 20% of G&W’s 50% ownership interest, resulting in GMXT having an indirect 60% interest in the JV. GMXT is a subsidiary of Grupo México.
- Genesee & Wyoming (G&W): Retains 50% ownership stake as a joint-venture partner. G&W is owned by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners and GIC.
