Technical skills. A high-calibre certification ensures you have the training and education to jump into the deep end of financial investment services.

  1. Technical knowledge. A deep understanding of the stock market, economics and finance.
  2. Financial modelling. M&A models, financial statements, company valuations, profit and loss statements, risk profiles and other relevant reports.
  3. Technical concepts. What each one means and how they can be used to your advantage. Bonds, call options, M&A, derivatives, bear and bull markets, leverage, IPO, futures, and more. 
  4. Proficiency in software. MS Office, Bloomberg Terminal and Stock Market Eye, and other software systems to keep you up with the latest trends in the market.
  5. Financial literacy. You have to be aware of what is happening across the finance industry. 

Soft skills.

  1. Good communication. You need to be Fluent and articulate when conveying your ideas and insights to people who don’t understand technical language.
